Installation
Lumo Optimized is distributed as a .mrpack file (Modrinth format) and a CurseForge-compatible .zip file. Choose the format that works with your launcher.
Download
Section titled “Download”Get the latest release from GitHub Releases.

Launcher Instructions
Section titled “Launcher Instructions”- Download the
.mrpackfile from GitHub Releases - Open Prism Launcher
- Click Add Instance in the top-left
- Select Import from zip on the left sidebar
- Click Browse and select the downloaded
.mrpackfile - Click OK to install
- Wait for all mods to download
- Double-click the instance to launch!
Drag and Drop (Easiest):
- Download the
.mrpackfile from GitHub Releases - Open Modrinth App
- Drag and drop the
.mrpackfile into the app window
Or manually:
- Download the
.mrpackfile from GitHub Releases - Open Modrinth App
- Click Create Profile
- Select From File
- Choose the downloaded
.mrpackfile - Click Create
- Download the
.mrpackfile from GitHub Releases 2. Open ATLauncher 3. Go to the Instances tab 4. Click Import 5. Select the downloaded.mrpackfile 6. Click OK to install
- Download the
.mrpackfile from GitHub Releases 2. Open MultiMC 3. Click Add Instance 4. Select Import from zip 5. Browse to the downloaded.mrpackfile 6. Click OK to install
- Download the
-curseforge.zipfile from GitHub Releases - Open CurseForge launcher
- Go to Minecraft
- Click Create Custom Profile
- Click Import at the top
- Select the downloaded zip file
- Wait for installation to complete
Memory Allocation
Section titled “Memory Allocation”For the best experience, allocate the right amount of RAM:

How to Change RAM in Prism Launcher
Section titled “How to Change RAM in Prism Launcher”- Right-click your instance → Edit 2. Go to Settings → Java 3. Check Memory 4. Set Maximum memory allocation to your desired amount
- Click Close
Java Requirements
Section titled “Java Requirements”Lumo Optimized requires Java 21 or higher. Most launchers will handle this automatically, but if you need to install Java manually:
- Adoptium Temurin 21 (Recommended)
- Oracle Java 21
- GraalVM 21 (For potential performance gains)
