Voxy is a high-performance Level of Detail (LOD) rendering mod that lets you see terrain hundreds of chunks away without killing your FPS. It’s significantly faster than alternatives.

Textures & Animations

Continuity adds OptiFine-style connected textures, making glass, bookshelves, and other blocks look seamless.

Animatica

Entity Model Features (EMF)

Entity Texture Features (ETF)

Enables random mob textures, emissive entity textures, and other entity texture features from resource packs.
BetterGrassify
Section titled “BetterGrassify”Beautiful grass blocks.
Makes grass blocks show grass on all visible sides, not just the top. Creates a much more natural look.

Animations & Effects

Adds smooth opening and closing animations to all doors instead of the instant vanilla behavior.
Smooth GUI

Adds subtle animations when opening and navigating menus for a more polished feel.
Smooth Scroll

Makes scrolling in menus and inventories smooth instead of jumping line by line.
GUI & Interface

Fresh Animations

Better Leaves
Section titled “Better Leaves”Replaces the default leaf textures with more detailed, bushy leaves that look more natural.
Low On Fire
Section titled “Low On Fire”Lowers the fire overlay when you’re burning, so you can actually see what’s happening.
Shader Pack: Photon Shaders
Section titled “Shader Pack: Photon Shaders”The included shader pack offers a gameplay-focused experience with semi-realistic visuals:

- Volumetric fog and atmospheric effects
- Water reflections and caustics
- Waving grass and leaves
- Full Voxy LOD compatibility

Enabling Shaders
Section titled “Enabling Shaders”- Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs
- Select Photon Shaders
- Click Apply
- Adjust settings in Shader Settings if needed
Why Photon?
Section titled “Why Photon?”Photon Shaders is specifically chosen for its excellent compatibility with Voxy LODs. Unlike other shaders that can have visual glitches with LOD mods, Photon works seamlessly with Voxy for a consistent visual experience across all render distances.
